It is very important not to shave between waxing appointments because this will interrupt the process and stimulate hair growth again. So if you’re going on vacation and want to be hair-free while you’re away, you should schedule your waxing appointments now for the best results. How often should I get my waxing appointment? Every four to five weeks. Regular waxing is essential. Your skin will be less sensitive if you wax regularly. Over time, the hair follicle will have less of a grip on the hair to pull it out and the hair will come out more easily. Another reason to wax often is that you may actually experience less hair growth over time. Is there anything I should do before my waxing appointment? Yes. Avoid taking a shower or bath right before your appointment. Soaking your hair will soften it, making it more likely to break and making the wax less effective. Make sure your hair is the right length for waxing. Make sure the area to be waxed is clean.
